I. RECOGNITION

A. The Committee hereby recognizes the Union as the exclusive and sole representative for all regular, non-supervisory certified teachers for the purpose of negotiating with the Committee regarding hours, salary, working conditions, and all other terms and conditions of professional employment.

B. The Union, with respect to negotiations, agrees to represent equally all bargaining unit members regardless of their membership in the Union.

C. Unless otherwise indicated, the term "employee," when used in this agreement, shall mean any member of the bargaining unit.

D. Except where prohibited by law, all references to the Superintendent, Principal or other school district administrators shall be deemed to include designees of those persons.
